PATH Spring and Fall Chinook Data Files for CRiSP.1.6 and CRiSP.1.5.5

This is a specialized distribution of data files used for PATH analysis of spring chinook and fall chinook using the CRiSP.1.6 and the CRiSP.1.5.5 models. Also included with this distribution is a DRAFT version of the CRiSP.1.6 Theory, Calibration and Validation document (in pdf format only).

Generic Downloading and Unpacking Instructions

Self-extracting Archive:

  1. Save to the directory of your choice when downloading.
  2. Double click on the self-extracting file filename.exe icon or launch filename.exe from a Run dialog box.
  3. A "WinZip Self-Extractor" dialog box will appear, prompting you for a destination directory.
  4. Click on the Unzip button to start the unzip process.

    Note: You can leave the checkmark on "Overwrite Files Without Prompting" to simplify an upgrade process.

  5. When the unzipping process finishes, click on the OK button.
  6. Click on the Close button for the "WinZip Self-Extractor" dialog box.
  7. Change to the specified unzip destination directory.
  8. For installation of the models follow these two steps:
    • Open the Install/Disk1 directory and double-click on the setup.exe icon.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  9. When you have finished installing, you can delete the Install directory (CRiSP model installation only) and the self-extracting file filename.exe.

Zipped Tarfile:

  1. Save to the directory of your choice when downloading.
  2. In a command window, go to the download directory and type
    gunzip filename.tar.gz
  3. Then type
    tar xf filename.tar
  4. When you have finished installing, you can delete the filename.tar file.
